Aimee Carrero, the voice of She-Ra in the Netflix animated series, is set to star in an untitled home invasion horror film from Lionsgate. The project is in production, with filming taking place in Los Angeles. Directed by Julian Labrádor, the film will see Carrero play Lorena Riveras, a mother determined to keep her son safe after a recent accident. With a complex home security system in place, she relies on it to monitor her son when she can't be there. However, when surprise attackers strike, the cameras reveal a terrifying home invasion, putting mother and son in grave danger. Labrádor and Andre Fonseca are producing the film, with Tabitha Shick for Talking Pictures' Midnight Pictures label. Jeff Robinov and Dan Clifton are executive producers, and Lauren Bixby, Scott O'Brien, and Allison Lynch oversee the project for the studio. Carrero's impressive résumé includes roles in Prime Video's The Consultant, the action comedy Code 3, and the horror comedy The Menu.
